Elk of RMNP

Any Challengers?

Elk of RMNP

I am fortunate enough to live just under three hours away from Rocky Mountain National Park. For several years I took advantage of that and went there every year to photograph the elk. The rut is the prime time to go, but I also went in January and even May to photograph them. The different times of year would yield vastly different types of photos.

Life somehow got in the way of getting up there and I have not been back in many years. After resorting though these photos for my blog, I am now determined to make it a point each year to go up and photograph these magnificent creators.
