Fall Camping with Co-workers

Fall in Colorado is a beautiful time to get out and enjoy the mountains. It is also the perfect time to go camping with some of your co-workers. Two families from work did just that when they joined me for a weekend of camping and Jeep’n in the Mount Antero area. This was a very relaxing camping trip with most of the time spent just hanging out at camp and running the Mount Antero, Browns Lake, and Boulder Mountain trails.

At home he is almost always in front of a screen doing something, but get him out in the mountains or other remote area and he can entertain him self for hours with just some rocks or a creek.

Maximus was also able to entertain him self!

Both Satcha and Bullet liked playing in the cold water of the near by stream.

The views from the surrounding trails were amazing.

At 13,800 feet, the top of the Mount Antero trail it looks like it is on a different planet.

Back down on the lower trails everything become golden yellow again.

Mother Nature always has a way of reminding us how small we are in this great big world.
